What an interesting time this has been

This week has really been an interesting one.

As somebody who would used to working from home, I really overestimated how well I was prepared to only work remotely.

In a normal week, I have two remote work mornings. I appreciate taking these extra mornings to get more of my job accomplished from the peace of my own home. This week, however, my work demanded that I completely stay home. My associate and I aren’t trying to bring extra humans into the building and spread more germs. As such, I was plunged into the depths of human loneliness and isolation as I attempted to carry out my normal job duties. It’s really been a big transition. I will say, the one massive benefit of working from house this past week was being able to turn off the indoor air quality control devices; Normally, in this region it’s too boiling to turn off your cooling system, but you have no option however to operate the central cooling system in your loft for over half of the year. When you have to work from home, this means you swiftly are operating your cooling system nonstop. Instead of leaving the loft in the morning and giving your A/C a break, you need relief from the intensive afternoon heat inside your house. Thank God, this work-from-house suggest came down while in the perfect weather. It’s been so nice outside that we have been able to open the windows and rely on natural ventilation instead of our cooling system. I know the Heating and Air Conditioning system is happy to have a break, and so is our energy bill. I am blissful that my pal and I aren’t cooling ourselves out of loft and house while in this difficult time.
